Mathematics Day: The Foundations of Engineering and AI

Yes, we are celebrating it again!

Mathematics Day is still a relatively new observance in Russia: the Ministry of Education established it in 2024. To us, however, it feels as though the celebration has always existed.

For our team, mathematics is not merely a collection of formulas. It is the language of future energy systems:

• power-system operating and load models;

• digital twins;

• generation forecasts;

• neural network training;

• and the mathematical methods that turn data into decisions.
