Alexandra Khalyasmaa, director of our master's programme, has ranked first for the second consecutive year among academic staff in UrFU's Most Productive Employees ranking.

The ranking combines indicators of research, teaching and project activity. It covers university lecturers and researchers assessed for their publications, research projects, developments and educational initiatives.

The 2025 top 30 includes staff whose work advances the university's research fields and supports the creation of new educational programmes.

This matters to our master's programme because it develops through research projects and technological innovations undertaken by the laboratory team and the programme's lecturers.

Congratulations to Alexandra Khalyasmaa. Future master's students will learn from researchers who are actively involved in shaping the university's research agenda.
