UrFU Launches the Summer University Project

Ural Federal University launched its Summer University project on 10 July, welcoming around 300 students from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Serbia, Brazil, India, Vietnam, Colombia, Yemen, Egypt and Turkmenistan. The programme was launched simultaneously at Kazan Federal University and Siberian Federal University. Across the three institutions, more than 1,200 students from 25 countries are participating.

“Ural Federal University is committed to international cooperation. We have more than 4,600 international students and course participants and partnerships with over 400 foreign universities. We develop joint educational programmes with universities in the CIS countries and China...,” said UrFU Rector Viktor Koksharov.

Our laboratory's teaching staff have been actively involved from the programme's first days. They report strong interest in lectures and enthusiasm for solving case studies. Alongside lectures by professionals, Summer University participants take part in other activities, discover the university and join excursions introducing them to the culture and history of Russia.
