Power Engineers' Day: Celebrating the Energy Profession

Every year, on the longest night, we celebrate the people who make it brighter: engineers, grid dispatchers, designers, researchers, lecturers and students whose work often goes unnoticed but remains essential.

The energy sector is about more than kilowatts. It encompasses infrastructure, reliability, engineering calculations, repairs at three in the morning and the ability to make difficult decisions so that millions of people have electricity.

It is also about people who continue learning to develop the energy technologies of the future. We are proud of our students, graduates and faculty, and we thank everyone who helps the industry move forward.
