RES Group Project: Expert Diagnostics of Electrical Equipment

RES Group is providing another industry-based project practicum on developing an expert system to diagnose electrical equipment using data from automated production-control systems at oil and gas enterprises.

The project aims to create algorithms for an expert system that assesses the operational condition of electrical equipment for industrial safety, determines when equipment needs replacement or modernisation, and supports a transition from scheduled maintenance to condition-based maintenance.

JSC RES Group provides services relating to wholesale and retail electricity markets, designs, installs and maintains energy metering systems, conducts energy audits, and develops and implements energy-efficiency programmes.
