INZHIR 2024: Results of the Summer School

Seven days have passed since the International Summer School for Future Energy Engineers, INZHIR 2024, closed. We would like to thank all participants and organizers.

The summer school was organized by UrFU's Ural Power Engineering Institute, the NTI EnergyNet working group, the EnergyNet Center, and leading Russian universities, with support from the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

The event was held at UrFU's new Novokoltsovsky campus, which proved to be an excellent environment for learning and creativity. Beyond providing physical space, the campus helped create an educational setting in which participants could develop personally and professionally.

Here are some figures from the event:

• 250 applicants from 53 universities in Russia and neighboring countries took part in the selection stage.

• 97 students from 34 universities qualified for the in-person stage and traveled to Yekaterinburg to compete for prizes.

• 15 companies supported the event as partners.

• Teams tackled six cases across three thematic areas.

• 37 participants became winners or prize recipients.

• 16 students received internship certificates from partner companies: Tavrida Electric, ENELT, Onder, and the EnergyNet Center.

The in-person program also featured:

• Five visits to industrial energy facilities.

• Seven visionary lectures.

• Six workshops developing professional and interpersonal skills.

• Twenty-one educational lectures.

• One practical advice session with technology entrepreneurs.
