Summer University 2025: Academic Activities Under Way

More than 1,000 students from 37 countries have travelled to Russia to explore science, culture and future technologies through Summer University 2025.

Our lecturer Stanislav Eroshenko gave a talk on "Explainable Artificial Intelligence for Expert Decision Support Systems."

Students learned how to make neural network outputs transparent and understandable to practising engineers. This is particularly relevant in energy, medicine and other high-technology industries where accountability for decisions is critical.

Why does this matter?

Explainable AI is an important direction in developing trustworthy and safe artificial intelligence. Without transparent models, widespread industrial adoption of machine learning remains difficult.
