INZHIR 2023: First International Summer School for Energy Engineers

We held the first INZHIR International Summer School for Future Energy Engineers in Novosibirsk from July 23 to 28 (energynet.ru/ingir2023).

The school's central aim was to build lasting connections between universities and energy companies through direct collaboration on real industry cases, both during the event and afterward.

The program covered three main areas:

• Intelligent distributed energy and consumer networks.

• Reliable and flexible grids.

• Hydrogen energy.

The school attracted 327 participants, including 271 who attended in Novosibirsk.

It featured educational sessions delivered by leading energy universities, accessible scientific lectures from EnergyNet and industry companies, tours of energy facilities, social activities, gifts, and opportunities to make new professional connections.

The school was organized by UrFU's Ural Power Engineering Institute, the NTI EnergyNet working group, the EnergyNet Center, and leading Russian universities, with support from the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the NTI Platform.

We hope energy engineering remains an attractive field for students, and we believe that now is the time to strengthen cooperation.
