Our Master's Program Launches in China

On October 24, Taiyuan University of Technology hosted the official opening of the Ural Power Engineering Institute's master's program Intelligent Urban Energy Systems (Energy for Smart Cities). The program will be delivered entirely in English over a five-year partnership.

The opening ceremony was attended by Viktor Koksharov, Rector of Ural Federal University, and the Rector of Taiyuan University of Technology.

This year, 54 Chinese students enrolled in the program.

Launching the degree in Taiyuan demonstrates international interest in the curriculum developed at UrFU. The program aims to prepare highly qualified specialists to undertake innovative projects and develop new products and technologies for intelligent energy systems.
