Students Visit the Elektrotiazhmash Manufacturing Plant

Elektrotyazhmash is a major manufacturer of electrical machines and equipment for industry. It produces high-capacity generators, motors and transformers used in electric power engineering, metallurgy, oil and gas, and other sectors.

During their tour, students learned how electrical machines are manufactured and which materials are used. They also visited a testing laboratory, observed tests of product strength and reliability, and saw how generators and motors are tested under maximum load and assessed for operational performance.

The visit offered an opportunity to discover how a large manufacturing plant operates and to learn about industrial production technologies.
