UrFU Advances in the QS Electrical Engineering Ranking

Let's begin the week with good news.

In the 2024 QS subject ranking for Engineering — Electrical and Electronic, UrFU placed 282nd, according to the original publication. The corresponding positions were 320th in 2023 and 340th in 2022.

The university's movement in the ranking over these two years reflects changes in the indicators used to evaluate its education and research performance.

The QS World University Rankings are a widely used international university ranking system. QS, or Quacquarelli Symonds, is an education-focused consultancy that evaluates institutions using indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations, faculty–student ratio, international collaboration, and other factors.
