Practical Skills Beyond Engineering Theory

Courses for our master's programmes are designed not only by academic staff at the Ural Power Engineering Institute but also by industry specialists.

One of our collaborators is Working Group WG6, Information and Analytical Systems for Power Grid Equipment Life-Cycle Management, within the Russian National Committee of CIGRE. Core members of this working group helped develop the Machine Learning in Power Engineering course.

CIGRE, the International Council on Large Electric Systems, is a major international non-governmental, non-profit organisation in the electric power sector. It has operated since 1921.

Combining theoretical foundations with practical experience makes the resulting educational content valuable to both researchers and energy industry professionals.
