INZHIR Summer School: Learning Through Industrial Visits

INZHIR summer school participants gained practical experience alongside their coursework through visits to SVEL and EL5-Energo.

Their first stop was SVEL's switchgear manufacturing plant, where students saw the production of essential components of energy infrastructure. They explored contemporary manufacturing technologies and learned how equipment is developed and tested.

The next destination was Sredneuralskaya GRES, a thermal power plant operated by EL5-Energo and an important facility in the region. Participants learned how thermal power stations work and how energy is converted and delivered to consumers.

Visits to factories and power stations are more than tours: they allow students to question industry professionals, explore careers, and find inspiration for future projects. Practical experiences build technical capabilities and the critical thinking required for complex engineering problems.
