First Graduates of the Energy for Smart Cities Programme

18 June was a special day for our master's programme: we celebrated the first graduation of Energy for Smart Cities, our joint educational programme with Taiyuan University of Technology.

At the ceremony, the first graduates received their diplomas after completing two years of study in English.

Wearing academic gowns and holding their diplomas, they celebrated by tossing their graduation caps before embarking on the next stage of their professional lives.

We are particularly proud that 12 students graduated with honours.

University leaders and lecturers from both partner institutions attended, alongside the graduates who helped establish this international programme, which was approved by China's Ministry of Education.

The collaboration continues, and a new cohort of students from China is expected to join us in the next academic year.
