UrFU Researchers Discuss AI Diagnostics at RZD Innovation Days

Last week, our laboratory team took part in Russian Railways' Innovation Days in Samara. The event created an opportunity for direct discussion with professionals responsible for the operation and reliability of real infrastructure.

We demonstrated what modern diagnostics looks like: not a collection of isolated measurements, but an integrated system combining AI, robotics, data from multiple sources and equipment-condition forecasting.

The most valuable part came in the questions afterwards: where can the technologies be deployed, what is already working, and how can solutions be scaled up?

These are not simply classroom exercises. They are practical challenges that students can begin to address during their master's studies.
