Presidential Grants for 2026 Master’s Applicants

Planning to enter a master's programme in 2026? You may be eligible for a Presidential Grant of the Russian Federation.

The grant provides RUB 20,000 per month until graduation, subject to annual confirmation of eligibility.

Who may apply?

– Citizens of the Russian Federation.

– Applicants entering a state-funded master's place in the 2026/27 academic year.

– Applicants with achievements from the previous two academic years, such as winning or placing in academic competitions, publications, patents, certificates and other recognised results.

Important: achievement details must be submitted for inclusion in the national information resource on individuals who have demonstrated outstanding abilities.

Deadline for submitting this information: 20 August 2026.
