Aleksandra Khalyasmaa Receives an Alfa-Future Grant
Alfa-Bank has launched the nationwide Alfa-Future: Grants for University Teachers programme, supporting educators who introduce innovative teaching approaches, inspire students and develop the university environment.
This year, Aleksandra Ilmarovna Khalyasmaa was one of three UrFU recipients. She leads the Energy for Smart Cities and Artificial Intelligence in Power Engineering master's programmes.
The RUB 250,000 grant supports professional initiatives, educational projects and participation in Alfa-Future events and communities.
Aleksandra Khalyasmaa combines research, technology and a people-centred approach to teaching. Her projects inspire students and help create a university environment where new ideas can emerge.
