UrFU Faculty Collaborate with Rosseti

To mark the end of the second nationwide Energy Leaders competition, senior Rosseti executives met with the competition's winners.

In a discussion with 100 winners, company representatives addressed current challenges facing the sector. They also discussed requirements for training future energy specialists, the long-term demand for skilled trades and the development of staff education and training in response to emerging challenges.

The programme therefore included an educational component featuring expert lectures on digital transformation by power engineering professionals from across Russia.

UrFU lecturers Alexandra Khalyasmaa and Pavel Matrenin delivered lectures on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to energy-sector problems.
