UrFU Master’s Students Present 13 Research Papers

As part of their project practicum, students from the master's programmes Artificial Intelligence in Electric Power Engineering and Smart Urban Energy Systems participated online in the annual nationwide conference for early-career researchers, Science. Technology. Innovation, held at Novosibirsk State Technical University on 5–8 December 2022.

Students delivered presentations in three sections: Power Supply Systems, Electrical Engineering Systems and Electrical Networks; Relay Protection and Automation, High-Voltage Electrical Equipment and Electrical Systems of Power Plants; and Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Predictive Modelling Technologies. Thirteen papers were presented and are to be published in the conference proceedings.

The event marked what the organisers described as the Ural Power Engineering Institute's first large-scale participation by its students in a research conference held outside the institute.
