Applied Industry Project with EL5-Energo

EL5-Energo Industry Project Course

This semester, our second-year master's students will undertake their industry project in partnership with EL5-Energo.

Company specialists will deliver a lecture series introducing current approaches in the energy sector. During the project, students will develop forecasts for the Kola Wind Farm and investigate prospects for renewable energy development.

The Kola Wind Farm is described in the original article as the world's largest wind farm above the Arctic Circle, with an installed capacity of 201 MW. Its first 170 MW phase entered commercial operation on December 1, 2022. The wind farm has 57 turbines and covers an area of 257 hectares.
