INZHIR 2024: Opening of the Future Energy Engineers School
INZHIR 2024 Summer School Opens on July 22
The opening ceremony of the International Summer School for Future Energy Engineers, INZHIR 2024, takes place today, July 22, at 11:00 Yekaterinburg time (09:00 Moscow time).
The opening program includes greetings and short speeches from:
• Oleg Grinko, leader of the NTI EnergyNet working group.
• Viktor Koksharov, Rector of UrFU.
• Yuri Biktuganov, Minister of Education and Youth Policy of Sverdlovsk Region.
• Igor Chikrizov, Deputy Minister of Energy and Housing and Utilities of Sverdlovsk Region.
• Sergey Sarapulov, Director of UrFU's Ural Power Engineering Institute.
The agenda also features:
• Dmitry Kholkin, CEO of the autonomous nonprofit EnergyNet Center and head of the NTI EnergyNet legislative working group, on EnergyNet's approach, technology priorities, and projects.
• Vladislav Vorotnitsky, Deputy CEO of Tavrida Electric Group, on the business model of the electricity network company of the future.
• Pavel Melnikov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and lead expert at the EnergyNet Center, on the future of hydrogen.
• Alexandra Khalyasmaa, Candidate of Technical Sciences and head of the Digital Twins in Electric Power Engineering Laboratory, on practical applications of AI in energy.
Representatives of regional energy companies Rosseti Ural and T Plus will also give short presentations.

Special guest Ekaterina Naboychenko, a racing driver and the only female driver in the RDS GP drifting championship, as well as a speaker and consultant, joins us on behalf of partner Yandex 360.
