UrFU as a Hub for Scientific Collaboration

In October, UrFU hosted the final event of the Russian Science Foundation's nationwide lecture programme, which brought together more than 300 scientists and 120 research organisations across Russia.

Andrey Blinov, Deputy Director General of the Russian Science Foundation, attended the closing ceremony and emphasised that researchers must not only conduct research but also share their findings.

UrFU hosted lectures and guided tours led by specialists in fields ranging from sociology and biology to raw-material processing and AI applications in energy.

The university ranks among Russia's four leading institutions by the number of Russian Science Foundation grants and first among regional universities, according to the figures cited in the publication. These achievements reflect the development of research schools and support for young scientists.
