UrFU Faculty Make Their Fifth Academic Visit to Taiyuan

Our faculty members Alina Igorevna Stepanova and Valeria Alekseevna Borovskikh travelled to Taiyuan University of Technology in China, where the English-taught Energy for Smart Cities master's programme is delivered.

The programme officially opened on 24 October 2023 and is taught entirely in English. Over two years, master's students explore contemporary approaches to sustainable urban development, digital energy systems, modelling and the management of smart city infrastructure.

This fifth visit by our faculty has become an established tradition. We are proud that Russian specialists not only participate in international educational projects, but also help shape a global understanding of urban energy systems of the future.
